Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Linking up with Scavenger Hunt Sunday at Ramblings and Photos.

Waiting

Playing Pooh sticks, waiting patiently for her stick to come under the bridge.  We play this a lot although this shot is from the summer.  It's such a simple game yet brings so much enjoyment.

Foliage

Autumn foliage, making way for the new.

Candid

The candid prompt immediately brought street photography to mind.  I love street photography but am way too chicken to do it!  Here is a candid shot of a couple on the beach - the closest I'll get when photographing strangers, though in this case I do like their small scale against the beach and sea.  One day I will dress as a tourist and attempt some street photography in London......(or buy a really good zoom lens.....)

Knife, fork or spoon

Fork!  garden that is......getting the garden ready for winter - despite the confused daisies!

Rule of thirds

Happy Sunday. :)

  4. Great images, Becs! Love the couple on the beach, maybe because it is so rainy and cold here this morning and I want to be somewhere warm and breezy! I actually participated in the Scavenger Hunt this week, too, for the first time. Lots of fun!

  6. Becs - love seeing what you come up with for the prompts. I greatly admire your "Candid" shot. I also love what other photographers do with street photography but like you, I am chicken to try it myself. Shooting people completely intimidates me. Your shot works so well with the contrast in scale between the couple and the immensity of the beach and the ocean. Kudos! I say - go to London and see what you can do. Perhaps you will inspire me to give it a try.

  13. Your interpretations are perfect!! I love the first one of your daughter waiting on the stick. When my grandsons were here last week, we threw sticks in a small creek and watched them float around the bend!! Fun times!!
