Texture Tuesday - Warmth

My peonies have flowered and pretty much gone now and yet I haven't posted any images here.  So, in response to this week's prompt, warmth, here is one of my beautiful peonies with colour bursting from it's glowing centre.

Image processed using Kim Klassen textures pumpkin grunge and grunged up 2.

'Til next year, beautiful peonies....

  2. Peonies are one of my favorite flowers. My mother had several bushes growing by the side of the house - so beautiful - the flowers got so heavy (and ant-filled!) that they needed support. Thanks for the memory!

  4. What amazingly intense and saturated color. Can understand why you are sad to see them go.
