Hello Monday

Sometimes the week doesn't start quite how you'd like.....Really I like my to start my Mondays fresh and ready to go.  Today I'm tired, grumpy and feeling as grey as the rain laden skies outside my window.  Isn't it funny, though, how just the right thing can land in your lap at just the time you need it.  As I opened my email this morning, I saw a new newsletter from Patti Digh with probably the best advice anyone could give me right at this minute:  instead of setting loads of unattainable goals  that I won't meet and will then make me feel like a failure

"consider lowering my bar in order to be successful. WHAT A CONCEPT! In a world intent on over-achieving, lowering my bar was an idea I had never considered"

She goes on to encourage you to change ONE thing, right now.  "One small thing that will be a start for you, that will enable you to feel successful, that will add up over time".

What a relief!  So, right now I'm saying hello to hydration and drinking the recommended 6 glasses of water a day.   Sounds pretty manageable....

Also...saying hello to some polaroid love:

A few more hellos for the week:

Hello to lunch with an old friend who I haven't seen for ages (years even, I think!)
Hello to craft evening
Hello to a weekend theatre trip
Hello to play dates
Hello to more wet weather.  Not funny, July.  Not funny.
Hello to hydration!

What are you saying hello to this Monday?  Are you with me on saying hello to lowering the bar

Linking up with Lisa Leonard.
