Hello Monday

Hello to a very wet Monday.

The weekend, however, was lovely and sunny which was great because I went on Kat's on location  workshop  and it was fabulous!  I still have a bunch of photos to edit but here are a few from our walk round Brick Lane in London.

Blue sky and curry houses

street art - boo!

funky signs

and love tokens

So fabulous to meet Kat in person - along with some other lovely bloggers and photographers.  I'm actually amazed I came home with as many photos as I did as there was so much to chat about!

Today I'm saying:

Hello to processing everything I learnt over the weekend
Hello to photo editing
Hello to catching up on emails and reading
Hello to laundry (boring but necessary.....)
Hello to a theatre trip.

What about you, did you have a good weekend and what are you saying hello to this Monday?

Linking up with Lisa Leonard.

  1. Great! Glad you enjoyed your workshop. Love these shots, particularly the street art & the love tokens.

  2. Great shots, I especially love the eyes and the typewriter, very cool. Been spending most of my time on the sofa this weekend getting over my surgery but I've been going stir crazy so decided to get some computer time in today.

  3. Oh, so very jealous that you were able to participate in Kat's workshop.Very interesting photos - love the "type" sign with its accompanying typewriter. Looking forward to seeing more from your day together.

  4. So much colour and texture in these photos -- I love the funky sign with the typewriter! Sounds like you enjoyed the workshop -- lots to learn, lots of people to talk with and get to know and more photography than you realized you'd dabbled in.

This weekend was our Canadian Thanksgiving so I spent the weekend painting my living room and dining room, cleaning and tidying for the boys coming home from school, shopping, preparing a large meal for last night and then crashing today -- shattered from having done so much (read that as too much!!). xo

  5. Fantastic shots. I am glad you had a good time.
