Quiet anticipation

Today is.....grey, wet, cold.   But the promise of Christmas and all it's festive cosiness and fun is there.    So I am sitting with my scented candles, my books and magazines.  With hot coffee.  The colour palette giving a small nod to all that is to come.

For now, home comforts.  Planning....dreaming....listening to the rain.....a little soup making.

Quiet anticipation.

  4. that is one of the joyful beauties of this time of year -- being able to add to the drab palette with colour and brightness...with additional light thrown by candles or a fire and savouring the beauty of quiet moments. Enjoy! xo
