Friday's Letter

Dear Grown Up Dressmakers,

Please, please could you start making dresses like these in grown up sizes.  And no, I don't think I would look out of place in the supermarket or on the school run.  At all.

Love, Me

ps a little less gathering along the waist band would be much appreciated.....but not to the detriment of the twirl factor {obviously}.

Happy Friday, have a lovely weekend. :)

  3. Oh, I completely agree with your request. I can so clearly see an image of my daughter, about 5 or 6, walking into Kmart dressed in her ballerina outfit without one bit of self-conciousness - she thought she looked fabulous. And I had to agree.

  4. These are gorgeous, I'm not sure that I would wear the tulle & sparkles but i could see myself in the teapot & cup fabric- so pretty!

  5. These Friday letter posts of yours are so clever, and I love the glimpse they offer of what's on your mind. And, yes, I agree: the fashion world could stand a makeover. It's harder and harder to find things I like anymore. Just the classics for me, thanks!

  6. Love this Becs! Yes to creating adult versions of what is created for the younger set and yes to leaving more room around the waistline! :)

  7. LOL - I was just thinking this same thing about shoes. I've been seeing the cutest little girls' dressy sneakers in bright colors with sparkles and designs...and wanting them to make the same styles for grown ups.
