Wise Words

Today's theme over at texture Tuesday is wise words.  And these wise words come to you via my daughter who gave me this mug for Christmas.
What can I say?  She's a smart cookie. ;)

Image processed using Kim Klassen texture plaster squared and the veil.

Happy Tuesday. :)

  3. Oh, I love this! Both the sentiment (which is absolutely true) as well as your still life set-up. Such a beautifully subtle color scheme of ivory, cream and gray - such a lovely softness and peace. I imagine you sitting there, reading your book, drinking your tea/coffee, taking in the beauty of the spring blooms. Wonderful work!

  9. What a pretty vignette, courtesy of one smart little girl!

BTW, I recommend holding on to that cup for use during her teen years--think of the impact when the two of you don't quite see eye-to-eye on an issue.

  11. Classic words. I like that the blue on the mug matches the blue book. The tea pot and yellow flowers are neat background props.
