Texture Tuesday

Tuesday again....and this week it's free and easy over at Texture Tuesday.  I've had these ranunculus for a couple of weeks and they're still going strong.

It's still cold here but we have SUN and I can't tell you how lovely that is.  Mr Sun arrived yesterday so I had a bank holiday of pottering in the garden and planting some seeds (to keep inside... but still!).  Everything feels lighter now the grey has gone (temporarily, at least).

This week we are enjoying the spring holidays - some outside play (skipping and scooting are the current obsessions), a fairy garden with fairy hotel (!) to make, a cinema trip, lots of reading and Lego making and some projects to plan.

Hoping you are enjoying a bit of sun too and have a happy Tuesday. :)

  1. I'm just loving the detail on the edges of these flowers...I feel like I can touch them! Ah spring -- sunny here and still on the cold side too, but birds are about gathering for building nests...and with you it's skipping and scootering! I'm having fond memories now of skipping -- we always found a new skipping rope in our Easter basket! :)

  6. Mr. Sun arrived here today too, Becs, but he brought his friend, Mr. Snow.
Not a lot, but just enough to let us know that spring is not quite here yet.

I love this photograph. One of my favorite flowers.

We are getting some sun too and just a little mistiness in case we get all excited and think that winter is completely behind us!

  12. I've been seeing a lot of ranunculus in images lately, but I've never seen them in person. They are so lovely, soft colors, and amazing shapes. Your image of them is lovely!

  13. Gorgeous! Love the colors and soft texture you used. It also looks like the flowers match the tones on the rim of the vase - a nice attention to detail.

  14. I really love these flowers - the endless circles of their petals, going round and round, tipped in pink. Glad you are enjoying some sun - we did too, today, although it is still very cold. But I'm okay with that.
