Friday's Letter

Dear May and June,

Seriously May, coats and wellies is really not what I expect from you.  Apparently you are the coldest for 50 years.  What's with that???

Despite you, May, half term has been great.  We have embraced whatever you have bought weather wise (and I will give you that last weekend was very nice) and enjoyed being together and out and about.

It is really boring always moaning about the weather so June I am expecting great things from you.  We even bought a paddling pool yesterday in hopeful anticipation.

So long, May.  Let's see if you can up your game next time around.
Come on June.  Let's see what you can do.

Love, Me

Happy weekend. :)

  1. Having experienced some of the UK weather this May I can agree with everything you are saying -- your spring is way behind and you are overdue for some sunshine and warm weather. So bring it on June!! xo

  2. Even having experienced the coldest May in years - there is always a reason to puddle-jump for joy! Here's to a sunny and warm June.

  3. I really hope June is listening! Even in Malta May hasn't been that nice at all! We had a week long sandstorm and although its getting warm, its so cloudy. C'mon June, show us what we're missing! xx

  4. May has been weird here in Ontario too, very summer-like early on, then fall-like, finally more spring-like. Oh well, I think we better get used to the fact that the climate is changing...Hope this June is lovely for you.

  5. Oh my, I love this shot, Becs! And I do hope, June will be better than May, although I must say it has shown a very bad start...
    Have a wonderful week!

  6. What a great photo! Kids can always find a way to have fun. I envy you your wet May (see my post today and you'll understand why) but I do wish you a warm and summery June.

  7. Ummm...I think I tried to comment on this post via my iPad, but there seems to be a misunderstanding between Apple and Blogger...

Anyway...this is a terrific photo. I like that, despite nasty weather, kids will be kids--kicking up their heels at whatever comes their way.

  8. Same here with the weather, Becs.
Yesterday morning, when I went out it was 36 degrees, and now they say we're in for 4 days of rain.
I hope in a couple of weeks when summer arrives, things will get better, because it really has not been a very nice spring.
