Texture Tuesday

We are almost, almost at the end of our summer break.  Almost, but not quite.  Two lovely days still to savour.  I'm not sure how it is September already.

For this week's texture Tuesday I'm not letting go of summer just yet. And my favourite summer flowers, sweetpeas, capture that summer feeling perfectly.  A little past their best here, but that seems pretty apt too.

So, how was your summer?  Ready for September?

  1. Oh, this is full of summer in all its golden and colorful glory! I have spent this year counting down to September with my daughter's wedding on the 20th - now that it has arrived, I can't quite believe it. :)

  2. I love sweetpeas, so many colors on one bush. I don't know why but they always remind me of England. Love the haze on your image

  5. I love sweet peas as well. I think that here they do best in spring. Yours have reminded me that next season I want to plant some in pots to grow up along the balusters on the porch.

  7. Hanging on to the last of summer...I'm doing the same! As for school going back in a few days -- college classes for my youngest start tomorrow and the older one begins teaching on Friday -- he's there, he's getting prepped and ready and eager to meet these form 11s! Hope your moo is looking forward to a new year. xo
