Cafe Dreams

Cafe Dreams

Today has been grey and wet.  I waited and waited for a glimpse of light that would throw a little magic my way but it never came.

So, instead, I had a little daydream of a summer's day by the river.  It's always possible to find a little magic, even if you have to delve in the archives. ;)

  2. So beautiful ... Your glimpse of summer, brings up memories of the warm breeze and the mild scent of dandellions ... they lighten this cloudy November day!

  4. First thank you for leaving a note on my blog.....it is always welcome. I love your banner it truly sparkles like fairy dust....wonderful capture with your camera. And today's post is likewise beautiful. I am working on black and white a bit more...I never realized how many ways one could create black and white ....each different.
The composition and degree of depth are very intriguing...well done!. smiles: sharon

  5. Ah, yes - the hunt through the archives! :) How lovely to have those memories to pull out whenever we need a spark of magic light. Love the pink/gray toning of this image.

  6. I'm especially captured by the contrasts of this image...the slim white vase vs. the larger carafe, the hint of another container at frame's edge. Well done.
