Friday's Letter


Dear Body,

I know, I know.  I hear you loud and clear.  Reboot time.

Ugh.  The second I know I am avoiding something is the second that thing becomes all I can think about.

But it's time.

Fresh air, no sugar, more water, actually DO my yoga workout, early nights, lots of fresh fruit and veg.

I know.

But it'll be worth it.  Won't it?

  1. Oh, I hear you - the way something can take over your thinking at precisely the moment you are giving it up. But, yes - it will definitely be worth it.

  2. It will definitely be worth it. I am on a mission to tone up and lose some inches before March 9. That is when we leave for a warm weather cruise.

  3. Oh we know...and we know...and isn't always the easiest thing to do....I hear you. One thing at a time I tell myself...first start with water. Then more fresh food...maybe a's all the little things we do that add up. xo

  4. Yup...I've been putting off commitment to my get fit/get thin goals since the new year. ("I'll start tomorrow." or "It will be easier next week.") At the rate I'm going, it will be November before I know it, and I won't have accomplished my goals. Thanks for the reminder and good luck to both of us!
