Today...

Polaroid Flower Scatter

So here's what's happening around here to day:
  • It's half term, yay!  Though an appearance from Mr Sunshine would be lovely..
  • I restarted doing morning pages today.
  • As a result, I restarted my 365 collection of moments project.  I don't know why I stopped.  They look like nothing special but looking back on them is such a fantastic reminder of our everyday.  Must keep going. :)
  • I love summer but I do spend a lot of time obsessing about my diet....I love cooking and eating so I am trying hard to keep it healthy but accept that my figure will never go back to how it was in my 20s.
Life has been going 100 miles an hour.  Time to slow down, even if only for this week.

Happy Tuesday. :)

Image above process with Kim Klassen textures anna1301 and simple.

  2. I love everything about this post - the simple title, the scattered array of flowers, and the softly faded texture/edit. I finally had a chance to sit down and read some of your previous posts - love those about you - why photography and 10 things about you. It is a joy to get to know you!

  6. Gorgeous image! I love how there is both a sense of the random and methodical in the scattering of the flowers. Congrats on picking up your 365 project again - look forward to seeing the results.

  11. What a lovely mess of flowers! I too have been cooking healthy for 6 months. No gluten no sugar. I feel sooooo much better. But sometimes it is hard because I get bored with what I've been eating. Maybe I'll go buy a cook book this week. Have a 'quiet' week and rest.

  12. What a beautiful way to photograph flowers. I love the scattered and free look! I'm doing a 365 this year and even though some of the images are rushed or simple, I still love looking back through them and remembering those moments!

  13. I know exactly what you mean about your diet. I try so hard, but I love food and with college daughter home we love to go out for lunch way more than I normally would. More salads in my future I guess :) Keep working on those projects.

  14. Ah, yes, the older one gets, the harder it is to maintain that youthful figure. Though to be honest, I'd never want to be as thin again as I was in my twenties. I think I look better with some "meat on my bones" (one of my dad's expressions). I'm glad to hear you're picking up your 365 moments again. I thought they were wonderful!

I can so relate with you about writing and looking back on our 'everyday'. I love to eat too! Enjoy your summer and keep writing...
